The ARVO Annual Meeting is the premiere gathering for eye and vision scientists from across the globe, at all career stages, students, and those in affiliated fields to share the latest research findings and collaborate on innovative solutions. For 2025, the Meeting will be hosted May 4 - 8 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
i3: imagining innovation and intelligence in vision science
The theme of the 2025 Annual Meeting addresses how vision research is continually being transformed by new information and technologies. Exponentially expanding computing power is giving rise to improved artificial intelligence and powerful big data. Increasingly sensitive and elegant molecular techniques, including CRISPR and mRNA technologies, as well as more sophisticated imaging modalities, virtual reality, and breakthroughs in gene therapy are catalyzing our research as we aim to treat, cure and ultimately prevent blinding eye diseases.

Meeting notes
- The Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center is located at 90 South West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101.
- Child care is not provided by ARVO, but there are family-friendly policies for the Meeting. Children are allowed to accompany parents in any session that does not require a separate ticket, as long as they stay with the parents and are not disruptive. This includes the Exhibit Hall and posters.
- Hotels can often assist with arranging childcare
- Care.com is an option to find sitters. The caregivers on this site have background checks and reviews are provided
