Audience: Vision scientists, researchers and clinicians interested in learning tips for using AI in research and clinical practice.
Summary: Ophthalmology has been at the forefront of applying AI to improve the diagnosis and management of medical conditions, the delivery of care, and the advancement of research. It is crucial that researchers recognize how to utilize AI tools optimally, and are aware of the related ethical considerations, regulations and governance associated with the use of AI in ophthalmology. This webinar will include presentations on applying AI to ophthalmic health care delivery systems, the ophthalmology clinic, ophthalmic research, as well as ethical considerations in the use of AI in ophthalmology, and regulations and governance of AI in ophthalmic research and data sharing.
This webinar is hosted by ARVO's Ethics and Regulations in Human Research Committee (ERHR). A certificate of attendance will be available to attendees upon completion.
Organizers and moderators: Ingrid U. Scott, MD, MPH; Jessica V. Jasien, PhD; Margaret M. DeAngelis, PhD, FARVO
